Self-harming isn’t about who has the most cuts, or the deepest cuts, the most scars or where they are. Self harm isn’t a comptetiton, and those who think it is, are probably actually doing it for attention. The fact that anyone can consider cutting, whether deep cuts or small scratch, is enough to say that person needs help. This isn’t a game. If you see someone with signs of self harm, help them. Don’t think it’s attention seeking.
